No, what I am saying is that people in the public sector should be paid a realistic wage especially when it is from our money paid in taxes.

This wage does not match the job he is doing.
As someone has said not a fireman, not a soldier, not a policeman, not a nurse.

I am all for a decent wage for a headteacher but this sort of money is unrealistic.

Time for some cuts?

Well I was "reading" the Daily Sport (found it on a train tongue.gif ) and I didn't see him mentioned.

As far as I can make out, he was paid a basic salary of £82K, the rest being additional pay for work done on other projects over the previous three years.


Tell that to the 50+ people losing their jobs at the council...
