I would disagree with that statement. Most MPs are self serving as you correctly point out but there are a few who genuinely care about their constituencies and their constituents and will try to represent their concerns to the best of their ability in Parliament. I have to agree that there are not many of those but they do exist.

Labour are going to introduce a new tax bracket for anyone earning over 80k. Coincidentally MPs salary is £79,468.
My guess is the next time MPS get a rise the band will change as well...😂😂😂

Some p***k from the shadow front bench stated quite openly today that UK billionaires will be banned under a labour government, with their "ill gotten" gains distributed to the needy. What planet are these people from? Anyway I have a mini digger arriving on hire tomorrow so I can hive my savings out of sight in the back garden.

The real concern is that people with such a poor grasp of basic economics consider themselves qualified to run UK PLC. Still let the yoof vote prevail and they can pay the piper because I am getting too old to care.
