I hope they caught the terrorists, or whatever warranted waking up the whole of south Newbury (I would imagine) at 3:40 this morning.

It was not the police. It was the WBDC parking warden tactical helicopter. They had heard that someones car was touching a double yellow.
Seriously though, I hope that whoever it was that caused the police to buzz us was caught.

Should the Police publish a statement everytime the Helicopter is scrambled ?
Better still, knock every door in the area and tell people face-to-face...
