Ah the "brave new world" eh. Like the idea of commuting by donkey, has a certain rustic charm, and as they walk at the same pace as a man, one can converse with those lesser mortals who, though once had a range rover, now find themselves taxed into poverty and on foot.
The down side is I can't stand olives.

Yep. But Corbyn is the answer. We'll all earn the same SO I wont have to bother commuting. And siestas! What's not to like?

We of the "older" generation no longer possess the mental capability to understand such a simple idea and therefore it is probably in everyone's interest that we all stop breathing tomorrow thus removing 20% of the population at a stroke. This will free up houses for those who do not have one, solve the health service's fiscal problem and most importantly stop us electing "old fashioned" governments.

Long live the JC say I. smile.gif

I'm sorry, look up his nett worth, and some of his trusted henchmen, "luxury communism for the few, not the many". Nice to see the old ways carried on.

Can we decide if he is a Marxist or a communist please?

Just a different shade of red, that's all. It's like asking 'do you want to get robbed at gunpoint or knifepoint', semantics is all.

Are not marxists named after the compilers of the communist party manifesto? (Karl Marx along with Friedrich Engels). They are all bonkers anyway.

Dear God, can you imagine it, going to work by donkey cart carrying a paper bag with cabbage sandwiches in it for your lunch! I might have to go join TM in France, my business will be seized and turned over to the people's committee to make bicycles with and anyone over the age of thirty will be sent for re-education and gender neutrality acceptance. Happy days.

You'll needs be quick, come back end of the month for my winter sojourn. Hows things? hows the boatsearch? Wanna buy my boat? LOL.

Why are you coming back? Search going well, got it down to two now. Why, selling yours??
Mr Brown
Are we starting to see the answer to what Benny thought was going to be tank trap? PM is mandated to ask for an extension, EC can't be mandated so they could well say yes, we'll give you just a week.

I’d say we’re odds on now for a second referendum. Johnson’s worse than May’s deal v Remain.

Why do you think he had long meetings with the Hungarians and Poles, each of whom are right wing and and hold a veto? The letter asking for an extension is irrelevant.. as he said we are leaving on Oct 31st...

Coming back for the mandatory six months (ahem) so I can continue with the UK tax regime, plus, winter is coming so I'm draining down the pool and putting up storm shutters, rain is rain whether it's here or in the UK. And yeah, not using it much if at all so it's gotta go, all about finding time I guess.

Aren't you? I think it will be an alliance mind you, but assuming the Brexit Company stand I think it is a certain hung parliament. I have in my mind though the idea that BXP might withdraw late in the day. I still think we'll see a hung parliament regardless. The Tories have got off to a dreadful start too.

Nope. I dont think there are enough scroungers and dossers to elect him. Once his "policies" are costed most sensible people will run for the hills.

I think it's Johnson's promises that are either lies or not funded. No Brexit & Corbyn is a safer proposition. Plus we'll get an ethical foreign policy. Win, win. Best get used to it.

Except the Tories won't be allowed to cost out corbyn's Marxist fantasy, we only have his word on what the cost will be, and we all know how good his front bench are at maths.

To use footballing parlance each side is scoring more home goals than one would consider in keeping with professional sportsmen and the video assistant referee is spending time clarifying and not controlling the match.
Any news from Tory Towers on prospective candidate? Guessing the Lib (non) Dems must think their hour has come but of course one less tory seat is a step nearer for the chosen one to ascend the throne assuming Ms Swinson, like her predecessors, flogs her principles for a seat at the high table.
Is the smart money still on us leaving the EU? cool.gif

I know I’d be very worried if I was Johnson. He’s looking like running a worse campaign than May. And was there ever anyone with an inappropriate surname than James Cleverly? The more I think about it, the more convinced I become that Corbyn will be a superb PM. It’ll cost me a bit in dividend tax but I don’t mind paying a bit more for our healthcare and education. My son will benefit immediately if tuition fees get scrapped. Go Jezza!

Wouldn't bother me. The company I work for has numerous entities that I can contract with to avoid the dreaded IR35 rules. I just wont PAYE anymore. Simples. Then when JEZZA and Co. cause the country to go tits up. A few years of crazy spending followed by another 15 years of austerity. Happy days.

The problem is that services have been starved for years. There needs to be spending. There isn't a great deal of difference between the spending plans. The Tories have starved the public of policing, education and healthcare and blamed immigrants!

FTFY.

But its OK, nothing wrong with lumbering future generations with crippling amounts of debt and interest repayments on Government bond issues. Smart fiscal planning, your kids and their kids are sure to thank you.

Corbyn would finish this Country. He makes unelectable leaders like Foot and Kinnock look moderates. He would take away freedom of choice through central big government policy. I honestly think some of the brainwashed don't have a clue what will happen when Brian drain and Wealth flight occurs. They will be ******. But I still say it is the peoples choice so if it does occur they will only have themselves to blame. I certainly wont be marching or protesting, as it is called democracy. #reapwhatyousow
