I wonder what anyone has found to be the longest time for Thames Water to sort a leak; I see there's a fairly bad one near the old pub in Peasemore.
Guess it's been there 3 weeks now.
TW are aware as area it's gushing from is fenced off, with some platitude sign, but no action
to actually sort out.

Such a waste, when they're forever preaching to us all to save water.

We had a leak nearby here and it went on for weeks. Eventually, it was fixed by the third set of contractors.
Exhausted
Sometimes they can be very speedy. We had a leak on a communal pipe and as there was no stopcock in the road, Thames Water were called and within 24hrs, they had dug the footpath and fitted a stopcock so that we could get our pipe repaired.

Seems somewhat ironic that " Flashman's " maternal village is witnessing the gross wasting of resources while at the same time his partners in crime are compelling us to live a life of abject austerity .
B****y hypocrisy if you ask me !!!!! sad.gif

Just so you can all sleep a little easier tonight ; the water leak in Peasemore has finally been repaired .
Can't quite remember when it first occurred but I think Harold Wilson was PM . laugh.gif
