The poor Newbury Labourites are taking a bit of a hammering in this thread so for a bit of balance I though we could have a look at the LibDem's on-line presence.

They have a forum which they say is open to all so as I have rather a lot of questions about their running of the town council I thought I'd take them up on the offer and register.

You could always just ignore it? I do if I am not interested in something. It is not as if the forum has so many new threads that non political threads are ignored.

There are a load of pages on here, and of course you can create your own thread. It is the differences that go to make a good forum.

Just ignore what you don't like.

I was just thinking there hasn't be a bollard thread for ages, is this because no one's ram-raided them for a while?

The only time I've ever seen a real life bollard ram-raid was when a pizza delivery scooter ran into them.

I helped the bloke up and he rode off, through the pedestrianised area.

You've got good hearing, unless you were there when it was impaled.

I have average hearing, but I had my back to the bollards when it happened.

OK, but as soon as you heard it you must have quickly turned to face the damage; granted too late to do anything, but quick enough to offer your assistance... I would imagine.
