REFUSE and recycling collections are up and running again after the severe weather.
However green waste collections have been suspended this week so that crews will be able to help t hose with general waste collections. sorry about that, i'm not really a dab hand on the computer.

No probs, nice to know Veolia are getting it together. I guess at least the green waste won't go all mouldy and smelly!

My recycling bins have not been collected now in weeks.

My council tax is meant to cover their regular collection. The Council have not got a clue about waste collection. Its so bad, it would shame a banana republic.

Bananas can be composted.

Get use to the green waste not being collected as given the weather forecast, normal waste collections will be delayed too.

I wonder how many green bins only contain a christmas tree?

I don't know about where you live, but there has been no problem in my part of Newbury. I suppose you have been putting them out at the right time, seeing as the collection days were changed over the Christmas/New Year period?

(My bin collection is a day later this week, but I can't see me bothering to put it out tonight given the weather forecast smile.gif)
