). Not so sure about better quality on DAB though - UK DAB is overcompressed (which is why DAB+ is on the way), a good FM aerial and receiver will outdo any DAB set. Or are you saying that Classic FM's DAB is even more compressed than R3's?
For me Radio 3 is the shining example of what the licence fee is for - high quality broadcasting of minority interest material. The BBC spends far too much cash competing for audiences with commercial stations.
