It's because the police and other organisations were afraid of being labelled racist that this was allowed to go on for so long. |

This particular ethnic/religious group have a well known belief that women are not their equals in any sense, and to be treated worse than animals even more so if
you are a non believer too & white gets brownie points for even worse treatment. Equally if you happen to be of that religion, but the wrong sect, you can expect appalling atrocities to befall you eg Yazidi used as sex slaves. In this case they are 'managed' by females who belong to the right sect.  Of course as an animal lover, I also deplore their depraved treatment of those in the animal kingdom who by fate, are domiciled in one of these medieval lands. |
