Someone wants me to be more productive on F/B.
I had to log on with a birth date years ago which worked.

It won't accept some of my more exotic life.
Stop sniggering at the back!

It is a bit like the "Unexpected item on the bagging tray"

I hit my OAP a week or so ago, I got a lump sum from Andrew Lloyd Webber's ,
Really Useful Group and a monthly bit to boot. I am paying more tax than when
I was working all hours with the likes of Cilla Black, Babs &Sid,Bygraves.
.Off to prune the roses..Moet is in the fridge

A glass of bubbly sounds like a good idea CE. We should have a Summer Newt. smile.gif

Seems a good idea Simon.
I don't do much, apart from a few visits to West End shows with U3A.
I don't know if you have come across the idea of older folk getting together to do things.
I had hoped it would lead to romance, fat chance. Despite a 70% female membership I have failed miserably!

I plod on and play Boules with a gang (mostly ladies). We play on an area of Caledonian Market (worth a wiki).
Tolpuddle Martyrs .

There is a residents festival today so we are demonstrating...our improvement from total lack of skill to not too bad!

They are all dead now, apart from Windsor. Any One who had a heart! That was released 51 years ago.

I was working nearby when Leonard Rossiter died on stage. (Apollo) We had to help out.
A friend had to bring down the curtain for Tommy Cooper as well.(Her Majesties)

I had to go with Arthur Lowe and Ian Lavender to switch on Regent Street lights from Hamleys at Christmas one year. My job was to keep him awake. He suffered from narcolepsy and would fall asleep in the middle of a conversation

On a lighter note...Singalongamax. Max Bygraves ran for 2 shows a night for a year to mostly ladies.1975ish
He did a bit about White Cliffs and stuff and introduced the Tiller Girls. High kicks, scanty costume etc.
Keith Allen..Lilly's dad joined the line as they moved across the stage. Naked. He was working as a stagehand at the time.

I was working on a tape deck so barely saw it..so to speak.

Sounds like I have earned my pension!

NM! I missed you.

Great thread.

I hate the unexpected item in the baggage area. Especially when it's your Ex-partners.

Newt please Simon!! Especially as I live 2 minutes from you wink.gif

Lovely day yesterday. It was mostly for child activities in the park. Bouncy castle and face painting.

However a local schoolmaster was interested in our Petanques as an alternative to
the constant aggressive football in school playgrounds. It is aggressive but jocular at the same time.
He wanted to get children involved before they become surly teens.
You do a lot of bending over so it is good for us aged teenagers with creaking backs.

Slightly unsure about mentioning people I worked with in the past after Cilla passed hours after my post!!
It seems like Dorian Gray in reverse.

PPSI to HHIP... that should answer your question nicely. Of course you could also go for ITP at 973 wink.gif
