I resisted my urge to take a pic of the driver too, but let's just say he was a grey haired white guy in his 50's.

QUOTE (Branston Pickle @ Jul 17 2009, 12:00 PM) Good gods, it isn't a BMW There are a nice couple of tyre skid marks going down the link road... a BMW came speeeding down undercutting and tailgating. Then he tried flashing his light to a car in the outside lane (doing about 60) when he couldn't untake him. The car the sped up a little to pull away and as the BMW did likewise he braked very hard causing the BMW to smoke his tyres...quality!!! Funnily enough the beemer slowed after that, maybe he felt uncomfortable with his pants full of sh it

QUOTE (Strafin @ Jul 17 2009, 03:27 PM) Maybe he was the owner, an employee, or someone else who has been granted access. Road closures are general, and for the consumption of the general public, they do not mean that nobody can use the road. You can still access it, you just have to go around so your coming the opposite way. This person was obviously too lazy to drive all the way around and drove towards on coming traffic (assuming I'm understanding this thread correctly!)

Strafin, a No Entry sign is a No Entry sign, end of story. Andrea, yes you are.

Andrea, yes you are. I haven't been down there for a while so don't know what the current set up is, last time I was there it was traffic light controlled. I think Andrea explained it well.

QUOTE (Andrea @ Jul 17 2009, 02:21 PM) I hate people who drive like that. I had an issue yesterday driving home. I was driving towards the robin hood roundabout from the A4 to go towards the A4 to hungerford. Was in the correct lane and as I was about 5 foot away from the lights, they turned yellow, it gave me enough time to get through but someone in a subaru impreza came speeding up behind me going at least 50 mph, went through the now red light, under took me then came back into my lane and I had to slam on my breaks so he didn't clip the front of my car. My boyfriend told me I should have let him hit me so I could claim off his insurance You assume he was insured

QUOTE (Andy @ Jul 20 2009, 01:21 PM) Talking of idiot drivers, I'd just like to inform the driver who forced my son and his girlfriend off the road yesterday on the B4009 and into a barbed wire fence and hedgerow, by speeding round a blind corner on the wrong side off the road, that no-one thankfully was killed.
But if you continue to drive like that, one day you will kill someone and we can only hope that it's you and you alone. Well said. If the law get to them first however they will be more lenient.
