QUOTE (ki11ingtim3 @ Jul 14 2009, 01:11 PM) I really hope that you're not in the slightest bit serious. Whilst I'm not averse to a swift bop on the head from a copper to a perp, I think tagging the little b****ds and sticking them under house arrest is plenty enough of a deterrent to combat crime on this scale. They stole my car, they didn't rape a family member. Try to keep perspective people!!! No I wasn't being serious; it is called 'irony'.

QUOTE (GMR @ Jul 14 2009, 07:19 PM) I can understand your mate agreeing with you, but I don't agree on the others. In fact I could go further and say that there are 180 on here and you can only manage 4 people; that says more about them - if they support your views - than it does about me. I only said that the list of people that have difficulty in understanding your sense of humour is growing, I never said it was substantial. It is only that it seems you periodically have to explain to people that you were joking. And here comes the abuse bit... QUOTE (GMR @ Jul 14 2009, 07:19 PM) Maybe you should try to learn and understand common English. Two of those names said "I presume you are joking" which is a common usage and doesn't mean that they back your comments. Trying to find names and using them without their permission shows a sign of arrogance and desperation, not agreement with your thoughts. Before writing you should try to engage your brain; rather than having one objective on here (to wind people up). I don't need their permission, but it is clear to me they had difficulty in gauging whether you were serious or not. Nothing more.

My views are mine alone, I am not influenced by anyone in particular. This "your mate" thing is getting a bit tedious. GMR, I wasn't referring only to you when I suggested some of the punishments suggested on here were a bit OTT. My main concern is that security at Northcroft is obviously extremely inadequate. PS. If you look back on this thread you will actually find Iommi agreeing with you re, CCTV trained on the lockers.
