Does anyone really believe that 29 consecutive school leaving years have been cleverer than there predecessors? Why not just give everyone 100% and A+ Grades for all subjects. Thats where this is heading! |

Another one is that some exam boards are looking at introducing a TOP, top grading of AA* (single A stars are so 'last year' dahlink....)What annoys me though is the "it's still a pass....." culture. My kids were never going to launch any rockets, but they were forever being fooled by their teachers that a D or an E result was a pass to be proud of. Sorry kids. I'm old school and those marks aren't really going to get employers licking their lips.... It didn't really give them a sufficient kick up the ar$e when they got those D's E's as they thought "that would be good enough...." |
