"Gaffe-prone Sarah Palin, who is considering running for the 2012 US Presidency, has risked more political ridicule after suggesting North Korea is an ally of America.

The darling of the Republican Tea Party made the error when she was asked about the conflict between the North and Southern enemies, which escalated this week.

Speaking during a radio interview, the self-styled hockey mum said: "Obviously we've got to stand with our North Korean allies."

It would be the end of the world as we know it if by a freak chance she got elected. Even worse than Bush. It would certainly be a big boost for Obama if she was selected as the Republican candidate.

You know it would be funny if the possibilities of such serious gaffes were not so dangerous.
Although her presence on the poilitical scene in the states has been entertaining I hope the US people are not tempted to "give her a go"

After 2008, the GOP basically told her to:

Shut up.
Keep your head down
Learn policies

If she wanted to run in 2012.

0/3 completed..

As the American Presidency has nothing to do with Democracy or Politics, I think she has a good chance of winning.

You have to remember that to Dewayne from the Ozarks, she is a flag waving all American girl.

The mid-terms showed a lot of support for the Tea Party - and she is their darling. Amazingly, as a result, she has become a credible presidential candidate.

If Sarah Palin stood as President then it will damage the Republican party. If she won then America would become a laughing stock.

Yes, but they were both better than Sarah Palin.

Ronald Regan did good for the Republican party. Even though some would disagree with that. But he stood for two terms... and he had some intelligence... unlike Palin who hasn't got any.

Not that I am a fan of hers, but to say she has no intelligence is debatable; like Regan, she has a bachelor's degree.

You might not like Ronald Regan but you can't say Palin is in the same class as him. Regan did have intelligence.

Well, she is not totally blank, but not far from it.

I think you know that some very dubious and questionable people have degrees. If people have money you can buy anything; even an education.

Of the two, I know what I'd prefer. Reagan = punch on nose.

At least he never saw Russia from his house.

Why do you think she is unintelligent? I personally doubt she is. I can't see that she would have done all she has so far if she was.
