The Daily Telegraph ran a piece yesterday under this title, complete with photographs, describing the tourist attractions of the area where Kate Middleton lives for the benefit of the expected influx of coaches full of goofers.

One of the pictures was of Chapel Row Post Office and Shop, and the article suggested that visitors would want to send a souvenir postcard from there.

Unfortunately, the shop and post office closed in April 2008, and the building is now occupied by an interior designer, which, of course, every rural community needs.

This boo-boo can also be seen online at: http://tinyurl.com/2c4jo24, although they have removed the reference to sending a postcard from the online article.

The old bill will have a field-day pinching all the extra vehicles speeding into Chapel Row! That should wind their tally up!

That is really poor journalism. What bets the information was taken from Wikipedia or something? Lazy.
