By the way I would never but a coffee in a car dealership !

Me neither. Any not offering free coffee and cake will not get my business!

You can't beat a hot chocolate and biscuits when you await the BMW gent.

Sorry your heart needs an easterly bypass , thrombosis is a problem.Victoria park needs a prune

"What about the car?" "Have another hot choc...Sir" Visa will do nicely.

BMW dealers charge for hot chocolate? I hope the biscuits are made in Bavaria.

It was Shortbread. The bill hits the Visa. Pretty soon.
The chocolate and the nice smile was free.

The rather annoying thing about BMW presently is that service functions are detailed at various mileages/dates.
The complication is that you have to keep taking the darn thing back for another bit of hot chocolate and shortbread.

I love fixed mileage servicing. None of that 4250, 5250, 6000, 7500 nonsense.

Interesting to note that Lavazza have decided to launch their UK chain of coffee shops in Newbury.

I think they have heard that Newbury will put up with anything they are told to! rolleyes.gif

I think you will find they are being given a very good deal as well as they are desperate for tenants. rolleyes.gif

With spin like yours you should be training England's bowlers? As you well know less than half full!
Still if they are letting tenants take units rent free, as rumored, for a long period rather than having them empty then maybe it could reach half full sometime? rolleyes.gif

Lots of coffee shops, but it would be nice to have a chilled out adult one. Grown ups drinking good coffee in quiet surroundings with some chilled classics or soft jazz in the background. Thanks to Starbucks making coffee.'cool' with teens, you can't get a cup in town without overhearing "oh my god" a million times.

...or the latest ring tone, or "can I get..". I quite agree; Starbucks in Newbury is a nice drink spoiled.
