Not before time . With re-cycling centres within driving distance there can be no excuse whatsoever for their actions . I agree that 16 weeks should have been nearer the mark but why should the honest tax payer be burdened with the expense of the upkeep of these feckless individuals ? A more fitting punishment would be to have them clean up their and other's mess .

I tend to agree that prison is the lesser option but it is important that " we shoot a few to discourage the many " . Community work is a far better approach but the sad fact remains that unscrupulous individuals are putting two fingers up to society by their actions and it has to be stopped .
