No mate it hasn't. I come on for a bit of argy bargy now and then. It gets delivered back to me swiftly and then I bugger off again for a few weeks. Come back, same dozen or so people fighting with themselves and Simon!

As expensive as always.
Pushing for 400hp, I barely drive it now as I have a little Ford now as well, and as I work from home I tend not to go out for weeks at a time....

I disagree with the o/p.
A lot has changed around here in the last few months.
We now have a small series of childish, name calling brawls between the few remaining posters.
The forum has now descended to petty, name calling non-arguments of the Monty Python / Facebook ilk with no intervention from the so called moderation team.
It would appear that the NWN has lost interest. Does it even remember that this forum exists??
It is not surprising that many serious debaters of the past have left. I don't blame them.
Personally, I have had enough so I will join them.
Until this forum reverts back to a serious intelligent debating platform I will stay that way.
Very sad!!

Me too. I know you’ll think I’m one of the above and I won’t deny being robust but I rarely name call. The main protagonists know who they are. But more than that it’s become a very right wing and xenophobic platform where any dissenters get called names. I’m off too.

It seems all rather narcissistic to make such ‘dramatic’ announcements I think, especially as both of you have contributed to the problems you both perceive.

You are neither right or wrong, I just don’t see the point in making the proclamation; however, I’d rather you and newres continue to post than not.

I'm surprised at what it has become. It will be a shame if they lose you Biker but there are few worth hanging on for anymore. A disagreement is fine. An argument is alright, name calling isn't really but it has a place and sometimes it's funny. But every thread that is not in total support of the few ringleaders descends into pettiness by page 2 normally and doesn't seem to get back on track. It's ridiculous and JSC, and TDH are lucky that they could start an argument in an empty room cos that's what it is going to be soon.
