How dare she threaten to veto the result of the referendum.
We should do her a favour, have a referendum in NI Wales and England to decide if we want Scotland to be part of the UK. A lot of people would gladly kick them out.😂

See how she gets on with Juncker and oil at prices so low it costs more to extract it than they can sell it for! Seeya...

Scotland.... the next Greece.

It's an interesting conundrum though. The Conservatives who champion the union and fought tooth and nail to keep it now seem to have lost it because Cameron wouldn't face down the Eurosceptics. It's not hard to see why the Scots would want to leave the Union & stay with the EU.

I don't think the referendum will pass.

The ONLY way it can be done, is if a Political party goes for the General Election and it's prime campaign is to join the EU.

And even if that party won they'd still need another referendum. Party politics is not the same as a democratic referendum. At the end of the day prime ministers sometimes get voted in with 12 million votes. Not 18 million.
Personally I always said it was a once in a generation vote. We now need to move on. 1970s 2010's 2050's..

Still waiting for my plague of locusts and Armageddon by the way. Bit disappointed. Also has George Osborne been abducted?

She's doing exactly what our politicians should be doing! She's not saying anything new, it's what her party were elected on. Better question would be where is our Nicola Sturgeon?

No prescription charges, no tuition fees, still funding for local government...how dare she! Perhaps we should go for independence too.

Saw blue lights over his house t'other night. Anal probes, how appropriate!

Can't even keep their rollercoasters on track, how do they expect to do the same with their economy, only so much shortbread and Tartan bunnets they can sell.

Well, we voted Remain - so the next move is to get Nick Carter on the phone to Nicola's people to negotiate our becoming part of Scotland.

What an unpleasant thing to say. I believe there are several seriously injured children. If running avrollercoaster is your test, we're in trouble too following the Alton Towers accident.

Superb!

And it's can't be construed as anything other than a market driven approach.

Correct.
Let Brussels prop them up instead of England.
Mind you, they would have to apply to join the EU as an independent Scotland.
Change to euros as the train passes through Berwick!! laugh.gif

She is posturing. There will be no Scottish independence - the costs are just too high for Scotland

1. The price of North Sea Oil has tanked, so there is little revenue there;
2. Scotland would have to take on a share of the UK debt;
3. To join the EU will mean joining the Euro;
4. Scotland's economy is such that Scots would need to contribute to the EU;
5. Barnett formula funding will be lost;
6. There would be massive additional expense to do those things currently done by Westminster. Tax, Defence, Border Control, etc.

You are using logic - the Brexit referendum shows that adverse costing is no barrier to victory.

Why is she an odious woman? She is the leader of Scotland and her priorities are with Scotland. If I was Scottish I would expect her to do what she is already doing. One is only odious if you are on the other side of the fence.
