For the THIRD time, the penalty charge is £50, not £75. Reduced to £25 if paid within 14 days of issue or an unsuccessful appeal.

Darren, calm down, calm down. smile.gif

We know from your first post, however the story is quoting £75. Perhaps it is wrong, she has racked up additional charges or maybe Hungerford station has different/new fine charges, I don't really know, but am only quoting what has been stated in the story, so am assuming that it is right for the moment.

Personally I think that you are talking nonsene. The drop outs I see staggering about Newbury with their poor wretched dog attached to a string will not have a car. They would have sold it by now to fund their drink / drugs habit. angry.gif

What about the people that pay the money, spend 15 minutes in town and still get stiffed for a £1, use some of my money to pay the 20p seems fair

I suppose the re-introduction of the village stocks for such blatant irresponsible behaviour is a tad extreme. laugh.gif

Don't think it's extreme at all. Can you imagine how much Anti-Social behaviour by youths would be reduced if they were threatened with that sort of punishment? Fantastic. Let's start another thread asking for votes. tongue.gif

That's fine until they change the rules.

Just because a rule is a rule doesn't make it a good rule and that we shouldn't fight for it to be changed.
