Mr Beynon made a mistake and has made and has accepted the consequences also he has said he is sorry.

If it had been a non-know local person would you all have made such a fuss?.

We all make mistakes and that should be the end of the story.

How about praising him for some of the good things he has done.

Are you his wife? Or a member of his team?😂

Because he is a senior MP and a member of the government who are (should be) leading this country. there fore he should be setting and example to us all.
For an MP to have ignorance of the law in inexcusable.
Using a mobile phone whist driving kills people and he, of all people who is campaigning for a "safer" A34 should be fully aware of this.
It is irrelevant that he was in slow traffic. Bad practice spreads like a cancer and people seeing him doing this would think it's OK for them to copy.
The driver of the lorry that killed three people this year made a mistake and both their family and himself will not see the end of the story for the rest of their lives.

Difficult for me personally to find being anti-bloodsports, but irrelevant in this case anyway.

Agree with all that.

And me. I do hope he does not claim expenses for taxis in the next 6 months. Won't look good for one of the richest landowners in West Berkshire. Bit like campaigning to stay in the EU when you directly benefit from the CAP.

Just to add in, he put his hands up after he had been tried and convicted. He was rather weasly with his excuses before then.

Despite the furore little doubt he will have a jolly xmas and a have a good "larf" with his cronies over Scotland's finest . The Tories will never learn and , in the interests of balance , neither will Labour . A champagne socialist is as bad as a condescending millionaire who pays lip service to the plight of the needy .
Whichever box dear reader that you feel best fits your position...............Merry xmas.
