Newres<I think you are horrible, looking at your posts, they are rude and in most cases are downright nasty,It isn't any wonder some people, derogatory including myself, do not post on here very often when your replies are so derogatory. sad.gif

Someone voting Lib Dem thinks Coolio is a "philosopher"....says it all...

You don't have to be a philosopher to philosophise in the same way that you don't have to be a mathematician to carry out everyday arithmetic. In any case, I don't consider Coolio to be a philosopher and was just having a laugh, to be honest.

Very droll. It's called democracy chap. My vote or spoiled paper is my own choice. Go !$#% yourself you arrogant #$$

Your own vote or lack of it is of course your own personal choice. In the 2017 general election in the Newbury constituency there were 144/60,999 spoiled votes or 0.236% of votes cast. Let's see if this percentage is exceeded in these local elections but I would certainly expect some eating of words to be done if this relatively low percentage is not exceeded by some margin.

I'd rather be a "Gammon" chap than you. I don't think it's a coincidence that most people that join this forum find you to be an appalling creature. I did vote by the way. Always have. Always will. First time I have not voted for anyone though. The Tories are finished and I see good old Nigel is now 9 points clear on the polls for the Euros. I will be voting then.🤣🤣

It will be interesting to see tomorrow's results, the usual parties will of course try to tell us "it's an accurate reflection of the next GE" whereas of course local elections are always used as a protest. Still, going to be interesting.

I always vote, it was a hard earned right to be able to engage in the process. People who can't be bothered shouldn't whine about the outcomes.

I agree.. for the first time in my life I couldn't bring myself to vote for any candidates though. TBH if a slug had been standing I'd have voted for that...so I did what I said I would do and wrote a few thoughts about the state of democracy. And then added a big c0ck and balls..🤣

I think the message is clear, May must go, Corbyn must go. The only party leader with any degree of credibility is Cable, and he's going anyway.

I think that’s probably true.
