Two very bright law students - one from Woolton Hill and the other from Tunbridge Wells - have allegedly reported that somebody had stolen £1,000 worth of goods and then reported the crime so that they could claim the insurance. Eventually according to reports, the "stolen goods" was found in their hostel. They are now going to start their career off with a criminal record and a very unsure future. QUOTE (Darren @ Jul 31 2009, 11:28 PM) Another case of Brits abroad thinking they can get one over on the locals.
Most likely get disbarred now too.
No-one ever said qualification equals intelligence . True and in this case it doesn't.

QUOTE (TallDarkAndHandsome @ Aug 3 2009, 05:25 PM) Perhaps they should have employed a certain LFC footballers lawyer. They could have left Court in Brazil wiithout a stain on their character. Only because he was a celebrity and in his home town. Those girls are neither.

QUOTE (Darren @ Aug 7 2009, 09:12 AM) i don't think anyone can call Brazilian gaols 'holiday camps'. Even makes 70's Pontins camps look grim. The mistake they made is they tried the alleged fraud in Brazil. If they'd phoned plod in this Country they would have got a crime number and no visit from the police. 'Ching Ching' Money in the bank. Unfortunately the Police in Brazil actually follow up reports of crime

QUOTE (TallDarkAndHandsome @ Aug 7 2009, 10:52 AM) Unfortunately the Police in Brazil actually follow up reports of crime Didn't they also used to go around murdering people as well - or am I thinking of another Sth American country? Business must be bad, if they can follow up such minor crime reports
