Anybody else find it 'odd' that the most wanted man in the World was living a few hundred yards away from pakistan's version of Britain's 'Sandhurst'.

Strange that the USA also decided to not tell the Pakistanis about the raid. Anyone would think that they did not trust them and the information about the raid might get passed onto him so that he could move prior to it happening.... blink.gif

Yes, it may seem odd to some but personally I'm not surprised.
How a building with such high walls and overt security systems is not scrutinised by the local authorities is very telling.

Pakistan should not be viewed as having the same cultures, methods, administration etc as the UK. Security is a cat and mouse game.

Yes, I quite agree but this sort of secure building facility so close to a government military establishment seems strange to me.

Seems the Pakistanis investigated it in 2003.

Not really, they say the best place to hide is right under the nose of the person who is looking for you. They don't think of something so obvious.

I don't think it is strange; Pakistan government is notorious for leeks.

Doesn't sounds too bad a place.

At least they have their Bins collected on a Bank Holiday.

Oh for crying out loud isn't there a single thread that can exist on here without someone quickly bringing WBC into the conversation, often on the most unrelated and pointless connection? I hope once the elections are over things change and you council haters/lovers get a life and find something else to moan about tongue.gif

Why does every major event the USA is involved in have to be so ambiguous?

It's the military. Their default is to lie and cover-up.

Some peoples default is to think everything is a conspiracy. I can see why people might think this is so as the only way Obama had a chance at the next Presidential election was to have such a 'victory'. Personally I think they did get him but don't want the truth to come out about how he was probably 'executed' along with some of his family members.

But the US have already admitted executing him. No trial, no jury.

The only conspiracy the one the White House have just tried to fob the American people off with.

Funny, I thought everyone on here was in favour of strong, swift punishment.

Just sayin'
