I was utterly incensed to read about this poor man's plight.

I am staggered to hear that there still seem to be some dinosaurs and ignorant deniers that refuse to hear the truth about climate change.

I hope that Grainger learns its lesson from this outrage and makes suitable compensation.

I have a good mind to ring up the CEO of this firm and read him the riot act.

Without knowing the full facts behind this case (do you?), I can't really comment, except to say that if his beliefs prevented him from doing his job properly, maybe he was in the wrong job.

If you feel so strongly about it, then what's stopping you?

As far as I can tell, what has happened is that belief in man made climate change has been categorised as the same as the belief in God and other faiths (both might be fantastic theories).

I'd say that this affair could start a very dangerous precedent.

The extreme example being that employees could start to refuse to do work for reasons of a belief in Anthropogenic Global Warming. Flying, for example.

I heard this guy on the radio and he sounded like a complete nutter. I think there is probably more to this story than is being published at the moment. I do think there are a couple of cases at the moment where advisers seem to be forgetting that they are just that. Advisers, nobody actually has to listen to the or act upon their recommendations. That's when they go a little power mad and turn whistleblower.
