Precisely why I didn't go, its difficult to have a discussion with people and get sparkey with them when they know who you are. Puts a crimp in your style. Always thought it a bad idea.

To be honest, that is one reason why I wouldn't want to go, although there are one or two people I'd like to meet as I find them interesting.

I don't think that is what Penelope meant. I suspect when she said 'discussion', she means subsequent discussions on here.

Well Ms Penelope. I think along the lines of x2lls. Mostly describing how we had ended up at the Hogs Head.
I learnt a few things about the canal and it's management. I was surprised about how nice Newbury still was.
Mr Capp was mentioned (but only briefly). Often the conversation was about cats and dogs we had owned.

Really it was no big deal Bilderburg set up.
