Me Me Me Me Me!

Saw them last year - Brilliant! Heard MH on radio saying they will not be touring again in their current format with their usual repertoire. Shame!

Yes it's lunchtime, so thought I'd let you know that apparently the Ginger One is about to embark on a tour as singer of The Faces .......

Paul Rogers doing a Freddie in Queen, is just about feasable, but Hucknall as Rod Stewart in his prime, what's all that about???????? huh.gif

Yes Paul Rogers with The Faces would be better, or more suitable!

Off topic: Ian Astbury with The Doors, seems to work OK.

Chas & Dave have regrouped ten months after splitting up. Is this a record?

Was that Knebworth '79 Bill ! Nothing wrong with that by the way, they are both very accomplished musicians. I think Dave Peacock's wife passing away last year made him decide to pack in touring at the time.

It was, I just finished David 'Chas' Hodges autobiography (Chas & Dave). He now builds and refurbishes Gypsy wagons. It is now called the David Hodge band.

I must be slightly older rolleyes.gif !!! cause i saw Led Zep in 1970 at Shepton Mallet. Here is an interesting link to what that was like. http://www.ukrockfestivals.com/vftmud.html ohmy.gif. I had forgotten just how many bands were there, although Pink Floyd coming on around midnight & doing their 'Atom Heart Mother' set sticks in my mind. blink.gif
