Re your story regarding Thatcham RFC having to play Alchester, that according to the article had been nomintated because Gosford All Blacks had prior engagement. This was not the case, Thatcham were always to play Alchester in the Senior Vase, as per the draw on the swrugby.co.uk web site. Dont quite know where they got the idea they were playing Gosford.
