So you think celebrating elderly people dying is something to celebrate? These #fbpe types and the 'final say" sounds a bit akin to something Hitler tried...You 🤡

Gammons hate facts.

It's not celebrating is it, it's just making the point that as the boomers die off the world gets a little better. And the dynamic of the country changes.

Untill the next generation gets old enough.

What's the difference between a hampster and a hipster?

After ten minutes the hamster's still interesting.

It's so...funny. They don't realise that the remainers in 2016 are now 2 years older and are well on the way to leave. It's called wisdom.🤣

The next generation aren't widely regarded as the worst generation ever. The next generation have to sort out the mess left behind by the greed and selfishness of the baby boomers, who had everything on a plate but cannot stomach anyone else having a comfortable life.

Now they are going to be left to sort out Brexit as well.

The only plate I recall as a young person was an empty one caused by rationing. We had some form of education beaten into us and set about rebuilding a war ravaged europe and kicking out the old order. Eventually, (after the "froggy" general capitulated), we voted to join the common market despite the older members of the electorate still having strong reservations. We worked hard, (well most of us did), and built not only a rich country but a peaceful continent. Then it started going downhill as successive governments involved themselves in everyday life; so don't blame today's pensioners for the mess we are in, blame yourselves for electing such cretins to positions of power.

Don't blame anyone under 35... it can't possibly their fault. They have been brought up to expect EVERYTHING on a plate...

TODAY... I had a resumee from a 20 year old Costa coffee barrista applying for a job as a 100k a year Power BI and Azure ACCA or CIMA consultant.. I can learn on the job... Dear God.. the only reason I know is because our talent team nearly died laughing...

And that in a nutshell is why project fear is rife over leaving the EU. We are no longer prepared to work from the bottom up as we are told that by going to university we can walk straight into a "top" job. The realisation that this is not the case is as big a shock as the idea that we are now going to have to start working for our global position.

ps. Who do I forward my cv to? cool.gif

We will still be there long after the yanks have departed and the taliban have gone back to fighting amongst themselves. The only place that Alexander 3rd of Macedon couldn't subjugate and he knew a thing or two about that; but our "thicko's" in power know best. angry.gif

Strange but quaint that a member from the left is thinking of 'our boys' when only last week members of the left desecrated several memorials to those who fought in WW2.

I wasn’t. I was pointing out how ridiculous it is to write off a whole generation.

And what’s a “talent team”?

You could start here.
"A teenage supporter of Jeremy Corbyn who has been accused of hypocrisy on social media for accepting a scholarship to Eton has told his critics that he will use his education to “go out and tackle injustice”.

Sixteen-year-old Hasan Patel, a self-described socialist and avid supporter of the Labour leader, has accepted a £76,000 scholarship to study at Eton College, whose former pupils include Princes William and Harry, Boris Johnson and David Cameron."
