Where has Bill1 gone? The last time he was posting he was getting a bit of a beating. Is he OK? He was great and I for one miss him.

Yeah, me too - but it is the height of the holiday season so maybe he's away enjoying himself, far from the August summers night we have to endure - it will be dark within an hour, awful thought

It does however highlight the transient nature of the forum contributor. Anonymity is one of benefits of this site.The fact that,within reason,we can say what we like and no one is likely to bang on ones door with a pick axe handle , ( which sometimes results with the letters page of the NWN ),instills a great peace of mind,but on the other hand if one, leaves the area , is taken ill or worse no one will be any the wiser.

That is not true of everybody; I am known. Why is it "still a great peace of mind"? Unless you plan to abuse somebody or threaten them. Or unless you are saying something that you wouldn't normally say. Everything I say I will say in front of you, as I would on here. I would also treat you with respect, as I do on here. That doesn't mean I don't make mistakes; and if I do I will apologise. |
