I sometimes cycle alongside the canal from newbury to hungerford, that would make a nice walk

Beacon Hill, Watership Down and Coomb Gibbet being the most popular. The canal is very pleasant especially between Kintbury and Hungerford. The walk to Donnington Castle and then through the woods via Bagnor is very nice and there is a decent pub for a quick drink. Have fun. |
