Come on, own up.... who was responsible for playing giant billiards and knocking down our famous two-tear traffic lights? And before anybody asked; it wasn't me; I know I can do a lot of damage on my bike.... BUT THAT!

A bright red MK3 Astra did it sometime before 18:40. The driver looked very sheepish as she stood at the side of the pole. Took out the rest of the lights Northbound on the A339/London junction and A339 Southbound/A4.
Mr TVP Traffic man did not look too happy.

She must have been going fast to cause that sort of damage.

Front end will need more than a bit of T-cut.
I'm just waiting for the headline "Car written off by badly signed traffic light" "last time I'm coming to Newbury complains aggrieved driver"

This "dangerous traffic lights" thread could go on for 16 pages.
Don't tell me - lapse of concentration, following a bus through and they "rose up" under the car.!!!

Maybe it was an act of God; he didn't like it so when he was driving through Newbury he removed it by getting another car crash into it.

Traffic lifghts like that are not an 'off the peg' purchase.

If you use allegedly a few times you can say whatever you like.
such as "allegedly it was Good Boy Racer who crashed into the traffic light".
