I thought this "mine is bigger than yours" banter was restricted to 15 year old school boys and the annual bonus handout to those bankers (sic) who think they deserve it.

The first part sounds about right for cognosco.

And of course you know my life as well as my sex eh?

I expect you are jealous because my yacht is bigger, better and has a very much nicer mooring than yours?
Yours must be far too old for me if it needs antifouling and a new anode. Max two years before I pass mine off to little irks like you! rolleyes.gif

Bold statement seeing as no-one has mentioned size or age of boat or where they're berthed, so all in all a pretty depressing attempt at trolling laugh.gif

On a sadder note I see Oyster have gone bust. Depressing, more so for the workers.

Come on Sir William! Nice attempt at irony though.

In boat terms, count me out. Last thing I'd ever want. My old man had one; worst problem was thinking up excuses for not 'coming for a little trip to France'. No tears shed when we waved that goodbye.

I'ts not for everyone I concur, just like sitting for hours at a time watching some overpaid witless buffoon kick a pigskin up and down a pitch isn't my cuppa tea. What boat did he have by the way? genuine interest.

Maybe your imaginary helicopter flown by your imaginary pilot can touch down on the deck of your imaginary boat on its imaginary mooring before transferring to your imaginary limo and being driven by your imaginary chauffeur to one of your imaginary stores! That would be nice! laugh.gif Still if it makes you happy while you flip burgers thats ok with us. wink.gif

Oh come on do keep up please! We don't flip burgers in my Michelin starred owned restaurants even a Burger King attendee like you should have that kind of knowledge! rolleyes.gif

I personally don't own a helicopter, cost Vs usage didn't work for me. So we just hire one when we want one, usually it's for the f1 and Ascot so it wouldn't make sense.

Helicopter for F1? Why I would not dream of that I use the executive jet of course! rolleyes.gif

We, well, one of my brothers got rid via a dealer. Not sure I even knew it's make, but it had cabin and usual floating caravan stuff, six berths and two Ford Diesel engines which didn't seem to get up much speed. He used it for fishing mainly, which is as facinating as football as a spectator sport.

Ok, thanks, fishing, like football and boating is and always has been, much more interesting in the doing than the watching. For me anyway.

Good for you, I can't get a jet to land in my back garden, the Heli comes in quite nicely though. So much nicer door to door.

Yes of course helicopter for local national journeys.
Probably do have enough space on the estate for landing the jet but it would probably be too much trouble to sort out the planning permission. And of course being environmentally aware I do try to keep flights to the minimum. Time for us superpower CEO's is very important and I cannot risk being held up in the dire traffic snarl ups that is our road infrastructure at present even though the Bristol is quite comfortable to travel in. rolleyes.gif

That's the idea, glad we're finally on the same wavelength. I take it we can count on your presence at next month's meeting of the bloated capitalists club? And what shall I tell the menial on the gate you'll need a space in the courtyard for? Your jet, your limo or might you be turning up in your yacht?

Much appreciate the kind invite but of course you should be aware that us truly wealthy top elites are semi recluse and very rarely socialise except with a very few selected individuals.

There is also the delicate balance of not being seen as too ostentatious that is why you may perchance see me around the local lanes riding my hybrid bicycle. I do of course have to be kept within sight of my security detail. rolleyes.gif
