Just received this e-mail from Thames Valley Police - Community Messaging - West Berks - East Isley area

Please can you pass this on :--



URGENT MESSAGE REGARDING A MISSING MAN:

An 81 year old man has been missing since 9.30am this morning. He went out walking with his 2 terrier dogs and 1 small white dog. He went walking in the fields out of East Isley town centre towards the gallops. He is white, slim build, dark hair with grey flecks and thinning on top. He was wearing blue jeans, 3/4 length green coat and wearing working boots.
Any sightings please ring the police on 101 quoting URN 668 21st March.

Tis' up in my neck of the woods too. I've walked as much as I can today around the gallops and ridgeway, but I've seen nothing. Knee is too nackered atm to do more walking. It's a great day out there for a walk and I hope he is found soon.

Do not know if it had a bearing in this case, but SMS, tweets, email circulation and sites such as this can be so useful sometimes.

It is quite a handy tool,or fool depending what you are looking for.
Good to hear the gent and terriers came to no harm.
