Sad news from Sri Lanka this Easter weekend.
Christians make up just 8 percent of Sri Lanka's population.
If the Sri Lankan Prime Minister has anything about him I expect to see him in some Christian regalia...but then again... I won't hold my breath...

You should know by now that politicians are adept at saying one thing and meaning the complete opposite and I very much doubt that it is any different in Sri Lanka. Though intended for christians it probably maimed or killed just as many muslims. On a par with the cretins who shot Lyra McKee who, and forgive me if I am wrong, was a roman catholic.

What’s “Christian regalia”?
It’s a shame that your response to such a horrific event is to try to make silly gammonesque points.

I presume, but do not know, he meant the regalia of a Christian official, ie; priest, bishop etc.

Correct.. and yes Mr Newres. The PM of NZ dressedin a Hijab and visited the Muslim community in Christchurch. Why not expect the same? Both heinous acts.

So you’re suggesting the Sri Lanka PM should dress up as a bishop? Are you an escapee from an institution?
