Troubled nightclub company Luminar Leisure have this morning entered administration. It comes as bankers pull the plug following a number of bad PR events including the closure of Newbury and a stampede at a club in Northampton that killed a student. Clubs in all parts of the UK came under fire for offering 80p drinks and other discounted drinks offers.

Those units that are still open expect to remain trading for now, but a small number may close over the coming weeks. Where does leave the Kennet Centre? Will they get paid for the lease?

No, probably not. It will simply be a creditor who will need to take what they get from the administrator after the preferred creditors are paid (HMRC, WBC, etc.)
