The AA are striking due to changes to their final salary pension. BA Cabin Crews striking because of possible job losses.

Just spare a thought for the workers at Carlsberg in Denmark who are going on strike because they can nolonger drink on the job. LOL

From the linked article - "The trucks have alcohol ignition locks preventing the drivers from driving drunk, he added."

Why not install these locks in all vehicles?

How does an alcohol ignition lock work? blink.gif
(I checked the date of this article and it is not 1/4)

These exist. I believe you have to supply a breath sample before the vehicle will start.

Obviously it's a consensual thing. A driver who does not want to risk driving while over the limit. If you were the friend and the driver asked you to blow into the device "because I would probably fail", would you really want to be driven by that person? sad.gif

This could of course lead to groups of sober ladies hanging around the entrance to lorry parks offering quick 'blow jobs' to get vehicles started, in exchange for a tenner..... laugh.gif
