"John McDonnell has pledged to install a Bank of England Governor who is “in tune” with the ideas of himself and Jeremy Corbyn if Labour are able to form a government in the next general election.

The shadow chancellor said that he is taking counsel from his key advisors to choose a candidate who fits the “requirements of what will be a radical Labour government”.

Yay!

Oh and add to that their pledge to get rid of Trident.
Their pledge to close all immigration centres.
Their pledge to 'smash' capitalism.

You want more? Cos there's lots more out there.

Childish.

Not really, it's all stuff they've committed to doing, one way or another. They even announced this week that they will install their own guy as governor of the BOE, someone who is quote "amenable to Jeremy's thinking'. I particularly love the bit where they say they are committed to destroying capitalism in Britain 😄, yeah, that'll increase inward investment!

So what we have is a lefty, remaining neighbor selling his story to the guardian. Unbelievable. Except it's pretty much par for the course.

Which ones?

A. 40 people came in through a fire door that had been opened by an infiltrator
B. They then threw devices under the tables of the people at the event. These devices turned out to be rape alarms.
C. They were lucky they were not shot. In the USA they would have been.

Idiots.

What makes me smile is that the UK is a word leader in its reduction of CO2, well on target to meet its target of zero carbon emissions by 2050, so where does Tommy Fckwit demo? The UK. Wonderful. Let's see them go to China and barge their way into a meeting of the council ministers, let's see how many we never see again! Boring lefty morons.

My initial thoughts,
She was in effect trespassing,
Bouncers in nightclubs do worse,
They were trying to get a reaction by their actions,
Mr milkshake was in a public place,
The fat, unfunny lefty was inciting violence,
It should be looked at by the CPS to see if there are any grounds for prosecution, as much for his future career as anything. Fairs fair.

Didn't look like unnecessary force was used, they claim it was rediculous to claim she might have been armed, no, it wasn't. If you don't want to be manhandled out of a private event you've just gatecrashed, don't go. Should have kicked them all up the ***.

Leader’s debate thoughts?

Raab slaughtered and made to look stupid. Javid is getting a bit boring playing the race card. Gove unnerved me the way he kept sniffing and eating his cheeks. Hunt a bit of a nobody. Rory Stewart is the man. Honest and decent.

Tory C4 debate summary -

Gove - that cocaine was a mistake
Hunt - eyebrows, something about young people
Javid - let me tell more about my back story
Raab - I'll shut down parliament
Stewart - no more machismo, let me finish the question.

Boris won, because nobody stood out...

Slightly stating the obvious perhaps, but worth pointing out. It’s a complete impasse. There has to be a referendum or general election. BJ cannot deliver a new deal or no deal. No wonder he won’t make himself available.

https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2019/j...re_iOSApp_Other

My hope is that he’s going to get in and admit the only way forward is a second vote on the existing deal.

The Guardian 😆😆😆

Now this is what I call an 'expert';

"Noel Gallagher has hit out at Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn in a colourful interview where he despaired at the state of modern British politics.
The rock star, who previously said he would rather reform Oasis than see “lunatic” Jeremy Corbyn elected, now branded him a “f***ing student debater, f***ing captain fishy craggy old f***ing donkey, f*** off”. He also described shadow home secretary Diane Abbott as “the face of f***ing buffoonery”.
“They talk pipe-smoking communist nonsense, do you know what I mean? I think the role of any politician in the world is to be forward thinking, and modern, and contemporary - looking forward,” he told the Manchester Evening News.

If we owe the money, legally owe, not as some part of a 'gentlemans' agreement, not that any party involved could be described as gentlemanly. Then yes it ought to be paid.

And,
"BRUSSELS has finally conceded that there is no legal way to force Britain to fork out for the £39 billion Brexit bill after Boris Johnson threatened to withhold the cash."

"Eurocrats admitted “there is not really a court to settle the dispute” if the next British prime minister refuses to pay the extortionate fee agreed by Theresa May. The European Commission’s budget chief Gunther Oettinger told reporters in Brussels that he hopes Britain will “settle old debts fairly” and expects the next Tory leader to “accept that bill”. The German official said: “Mrs May’s Government accepted the payment of that amount, so we expect that no matter which government will be out negotiating partner… we expect them to accept that bill.”

So there's that as well. 😂

We may still have a custom union with Corbyn. But we wouldn't have anything to trade with! The man's a communist loon. So in my book a hard Brexit is preferably to Corbyn.

Living in a cave eating raw meat and hitting each other with sticks would be better than Corbyn. We'd be insane to let him in.

Which probably increases the chances of a general election or a no deal. Neither will be good for the country.

"Boris Johnson is the only Tory leadership candidate capable of beating both Jeremy Corbyn and the Brexit Party, according to new polling which suggests he would win a crushing 140-seat majority for the Conservatives at the next general election if he was elected Prime Minister."

According to the Telegraph.
