Why exactly? Is it because he missed his opportunity to get on the Jeremy Kyle show and whinge? Or is it because he forgot to change his Facebook settings before contacting the Reading paper and complaining.... laugh.gif

Seems he's flat broke but has enough money for a new iPad, trips to the bookies etc (according to his FB profile), fags and booze aplenty. He's been housed in new accommodation for a SINGLE person yet decides to move in with his girlfriend who promptly delivers a sprog and now he complains to the paper that he's in cramped housing. "The baby has outgrown the Moses basket" - well get yerself a cot

Reading the comments he may regret contacting the paper. Gives the disabled and poor a bad name. Feckless individual...

There would be more room in the flat if she stopped salad dodging.

More time working out and less time having unprotected sex with men might also help.

Apparently sex is one of the best way to burn calories, more so than running, cycling etc.

Wrong. Another Urban Myth we can put to rest.

Figures / Calories burnt given per hour..(on a size 'average' person') (170lbs)

Running: 5 mph (12 min/mile) 636.3
Running: 5.2 mph (11.5 min/mile) 715.9
Running: 6 mph (10 min/mile) 795.4
Running: 6.7 mph (9 min/mile) 874.9
Running: 7 mph (8.5 min/mile) 914.7
Running: 8.6 mph (7 min/mile) 1113.6
Running: 10 mph (6 min/mile) 1272.7
Running: cross-country 715.9
Running: stairs, up 1193.1
Running: on track, team practice 795.4
Cycling: 12-13.9 mph, leisure, moderate effort 636.3
Cycling: 14-15.9 mph, leisure racing, fast, vigorous 795.4
Cycling: 16-19 mph, very fast, not drafting 954.5
Cycling: > 20 mph, racing, not drafting 1272.7

30 mins of sex - approx 85 - 200 calories (depending on the use of the chandelier)

True.

Still, 30 mins of sex? Does that include the meal and the taxi home?

Funny about chandeliers. When we lived in Woolton Hill
we bought the house my parent's friends lived in complete with a chandelier.
Out of curiosity about 30 years later we stayed B&B round the corner and the owners fixed a viewing of my old home,
Blow me down after about 5 different owners the chandelier was still there.
I don't think it was sturdy enough for any nonsense. Chained to the Aga is more likely.

Levity aside this once again highlights the burden that the UK plc tax payer has to shoulder . No quick fix answer but if we don't extricate ourselves from this wretched recession in the next 5 years then I fear for the very existence of a welfare state.
Yes , despite populace opinion to the contrary , we do need to maintain a safety net for those of society who need our collective help.

Lady Tup says once a year is enough for anyone , though I feel she was thinking more about my health than hers ...... wink.gif

That rather depends on whether you're the one on top, or the one on the bottom lying back and thinking of a Big Mac and chips....
