Another one bites the dust in the River Lambourn. A week after their first digger sunk into a hole and just before they were about to depart home for their weekend break one of their River Truck loaders sinks into another hole.

A quick update. I’ve just gone past the spot today where they tractor/ lorry had sunk and it is still there, but they’ve got the equipment to tow it out now.

A couple of the workmen had to delay their journey home.

Lambourn with or without an 'e' is perfectly acceptable. The e was only dropped in the early 20th century

I saw it as I went along Walton Way and they've just brought along the biggest crane in the world and lifted it out. The thing is tracked but had shucked off one of its tracks into the river. None of the works were under water so I expect not much damage apart from the track.

[size="3"]They finally got it out of the river tonight. But it took quite a bit of machinery.

Of course.

Yes by using Imageshack (link below).

http://www.imageshack.us/

When you've got the site up you'll notice a tick box for 'resize image'. You'll see a drop down menu. Go to 640x480 (for message boards) and then tick the box next to 'resize image'.

Then follow the instructions below.

1. Go to Browse and then browse for you photo on your computer (it should be in your pictures).

2. Upload (or double click on the photo) 3. Click on Start up load.

3. Once uploaded go to the bottom of image shack. You'll see three options the top option (URL number; which is called 'Hotlink for forums (1)'). Copy and paste that section into your post. That is it.

If any problems contact me.

No problem.

When they had the other problem the workman told me about £20,000. Which they will get back from their insurance. Probably the same today or maybe a bit more as more machinery was used.
