Well thank you for stating the b l e e d i n g obvious.

If a supermarket chain can cynically dupe their 'loyal' customers into thinking they have a 'bargain' and get away with it, then stuff 'em. If we can make a saving, then we will, thank you. Only mugs play by the rules ALL of the time.

Tesco unleaded was 135.9p this weekend. Prices in Wiltshire were as low as 129p on Friday. Fuel retailers continue to give our MP the finger.

Paid 129.9 for unleaded at Shell in Reading today.

Who cares about the cost of fuel.. biggrin.gif

And people say I speed everywhere..

Never mind the cost of fuel, you're going to need a new engine soon with that mileage!

Hopefully not. Don't curse it. blink.gif
It's at 141,800 now.
In the new year, will be pushing even more power out of it. I have a challenge to do 280,000 in it so...

There are some very good letters on this topic in today's Newbury Weekly News - particularly fine efforts by Messrs Marsh and Eddington.

I wonder if we're all expecting far too much from our MP, though. He does rather seem to have given up on this one. Perhaps it's because he realises that the supermarkets have no reason whatsoever to take any notice of him. Or maybe it's because he spends much of his time in Brussels talking about the price of fish. Either way, we're still stuffed.
