Finding a cure for the common cold. Now I appreciate that there are certain groups of people who are affected by the common cold than others, there always have been. However if you can limit the affect of a cold just by exercising, do we really need to spend millions on reasearch into a cure because after all the cure won't stop it spreading.

Its more than just the common cold - it is to do with being able to treat viral infections generally. Common Cold is just the headline writer...

Hope they do find a cure for it, I'm sick of catching them! Personally, I don't think exercise really helps as I exercise a lot but I still catch every cold there is! sad.gif

I take cod liver oil and vitimin e and multivit tablets with pure orange juice every morning, havent had a cold in 2 years.

I'll have to try that. I don't really moan about a lot but I just absolutely hate colds, I have one right now and feel like crap sad.gif

I've been led to believe that the 'common cold' is a mutating virus, and simply fortifying your body's stock of nutrients will make diddly squat difference to whether you get a cold or not.
