So the story on the Victoria Park problems in the paper actually says that a "second opinion" is required into what caused the Victoria Park problems. The original report was commissioned over a year ago, and still we have no answers or any indication as to who is to blame.

What I don't get is that if West Berks own the park, why is it being left to the town council to spent all of this money and worry about repairs. Surely that is the duty of the Landlord?

You usually only ask for a second opinion when you are not happy with, or doubt, the first opinion.

It does not matter who's duty it is; us taxpayers end up paying anyway.
unless it is Costain's or SLI's fault and we can claim back expenses, doubtful if the council dare blame SLi, so out with wallets please? rolleyes.gif

Or you think it will be challenged in a court and you need more ammunition.

What generally happens is you produced your 'expert witness' & then the other side produce theirs to counter everything yours has claimed.

So you don't think your first opinion is strong enough alone, or your first opinion is not expert enought, and you need another opinion? Or you need to put more pressure on someone who is unwilling to part with any cash? rolleyes.gif
