Anyone seen the video of the alleged assault? I think he was rather heavy handed and clearly by his face wanted to hurt the protester, however should she have been there in the first place?

If Farage is insistent that his milkshake attacker and Jo Brand should be prosecuted, surely then so should Mr Field?

Any thoughts?

My initial thoughts,
She was in effect trespassing,
Bouncers in nightclubs do worse,
They were trying to get a reaction by their actions,
Mr milkshake was in a public place,
The fat, unfunny lefty was inciting violence,
It should be looked at by the CPS to see if there are any grounds for prosecution, as much for his future career as anything. Fairs fair.

Didn't look like unnecessary force was used, they claim it was rediculous to claim she might have been armed, no, it wasn't. If you don't want to be manhandled out of a private event you've just gatecrashed, don't go. Should have kicked them all up the ***.

Posted by: je suis Charlie Jun 21 2019, 10:04 AM

I further note that one complainant shrieks, 'he should be charged with violence against women', which tends to make a mockery of the twin claims of equality for women and my favourite for today, 'gender isn't binary'. Can't have it both ways sweetie.

If I was the organisers I would be asking serious questions of the security bods,(if any). Had this been a terrorist infiltration, (and no they don't all have beards and scream "allahu akbar"), we would not be criticising a man who who stood up when most in the room just looked on.
These idiots do their cause no good at all and only add credence to the few who deny we have a climate problem.

A. 40 people came in through a fire door that had been opened by an infiltrator
B. They then threw devices under the tables of the people at the event. These devices turned out to be rape alarms.
C. They were lucky they were not shot. In the USA they would have been.

Idiots.

Gammon fetish. Every thing looks like Gammon to him. So sad. Still, with the right treatment, who knows? might get him down to Back Bacon with help from professionals.

What makes me smile is that the UK is a word leader in its reduction of CO2, well on target to meet its target of zero carbon emissions by 2050, so where does Tommy Fckwit demo? The UK. Wonderful. Let's see them go to China and barge their way into a meeting of the council ministers, let's see how many we never see again! Boring lefty morons.

Quite. I do hope they all live zero carbon lives. I would guarantee you though that my carbon emissions are less than these so called protesters.

I don't have a car
I travel to work on an electric train and walk to the station
I use an energy supplier that is 100 percent green
I eat beef rarely
I try and avoid all plastic

I do wonder if these people do the same? And me a gammony old sod...

Did you see the fury on his face? That’s why I used the term. Field is a disgrace. And note too the difference in treatment received by the large angry man who interrupted the Tory meeting the other week. Field treated her that way because he could.

😱Tory leadership race day 1😱

- Police in midnight call to Johnson flat over row with his partner
- Minister Mark Field suspended over physical handing of protestor
- Tory whips investigate abusive texts between Tory MPs
- Tory MP ousted by constituents over expense fraud

Pasted from elsewhere.

What's the alternative? Corbyn will make Brexit look like a tea party. He's a communist. He would take us back to the 70s. Within 4 years we'd have 5 million unemployed and the economy would be in ruins. Even Blair would be better and I can't stand that war monger.

It is not what corbyn says he will do as what we know he will do. Once in power he will bleed this country dry and the only ones to benefit will be the unemployable who overnight will find themselves in paradise. Excessive hyperbole? Just put your X next to his name and find out.

Didn’t think you’d actually have a clue. It’s a perfect example of why some things are best left to MPs. Sure, you can vote with your gut on a party, but the people we elect need to be more cerebral.

Yes, they are a word leader but actions speak louder than words. In all seriousness, the target could be met much quicker than that if more resources were invested into it.

Agreed. How do you change other countries stances, other than setting an example? My choice would be trade.. Commit to reductions and monitor them or we don't buy. It's the only none conflict way. If the big 5 or 6 countries did that it might have an effect.

I certainly know what Azure is, as it is the cloud infrastructure of choice at my company. I'm neither a DBA nor do I work in the IT department so thankfully I have nothing to do with the back end.

As a race we set ourselves unachievable targets.
If climate change is man made then the problem stems from over population.
Any measures smaller countries like ourselves take will be swallowed up by the inaction of those that don't.
Plus the world population continues to increase, again negating any climate change reduction attempts.
Unless the world population begins to decrease then we are on a futile path. (Perhaps the only way that will happen is if it's done for us?)
Q. What's the most environmentally unfriendly thing you can do?
A. Bring a child into the world!!

Have a great, hot summer folks!! smile.gif

Quite agree Biker. We are an irrelevance to Climate change. Sure we can set an example, but unless world action is taken then any efforts by us are futile.
