Brave Officers under attack:

Shocking footage in last night's C5 programme on PC's under attack;
about 35 minutes in it features 2 Newbury based bobbies.
This was a couple of years back, and it's to be hoped in a similar scenario now, at least one
officer would have a taser.

I wondered why the female PC didn't lay into assailant (Mark Davies I recall) with her baton as he
pinned her partner down, repeatedly striking him in the face.
Retaliation perhaps as Davies was demonstrating huge aggression and had previously
savaged both PC's.

At least this perpetrator got jail time, unlike several of other attacks featured, all on bodycam;
one guy attacked the PC & his dog after a pursuit following fuel theft. He didn't get
charged with theft or assault; appalling CPS decision. At least the guy got bitten several times!

Totally agree. The dogs don't get to end their working life with a nice little pension and a job with a security firm.

Taking the topic higher,
Not like you, you liar,
He's always on da level,
Cos in the detail lies the Devil,
Rockin with the language,
Wielding it like his tool,
Always wins his argument,
Not like you, you fool.

Don't agree with that at all fella. "Just coppers"...Let's Just hope you don't need them one day. Being a policeman or woman is just as important as being a nurse or Dr. Without either profession we would be screwed.

Wot? Like wot it says ere?

"The CPS said that in 2015-16 the CPS completed 15,442 hate crime prosecutions, the highest figure on record, with a conviction rate of 83.2%.

An NSPCC spokesman said: “Children should be as safe online as they are offline, and this new guidance is an important step that will help authorities bring offenders to justice.

“Social media companies must also take swift action to remove hate speech and pass appropriate evidence on to police."

Where does it say those were all social media related? In fact the quote implies that social media related crimes are a small proportion.

The other thing to bear in mind is that what are now classes as a “hate crime” may previously have been prosecuted under different legislation. The gammon can therefore back down.

Individual Police men or women can't help what the idiots in charge instruct them to do. You really are poor at this wind up thing. Must try harder. D-.

Words, speech, hate, ridicule for choice of words, point of view, spelling. How do you suppose it's spread.
