QUOTE (newres @ Jun 3 2019, 07:02 PM) Had over on Brexit and Trump. How many thousand recorded lies by Trump since he’s become President? Do you not think there’s something wrong with you that you don’t see a problem? Whatever. Go and throw your toys at the pointless protest tomorrow if it makes you feel better.🤣🤣 https://mobile.twitter.com/cocker/status/1135554641507364864

QUOTE (newres @ Jun 3 2019, 07:01 PM) I can understand why some,(such as Tibetans), would not be over happy to see any chinese official, (Yeman is a bit more complex), but what the h**l has trump done to alienate anyone in this country? Yes he's an obnoxious buffoon and I would be hard pressed to cross the road to speak to him but he is the democratically elected leader of the most powerful country on earth and to stand waving vitriolic placards is highly embarrassing to most of us. As for corbyn's position, the hypocrisy of the man is equally nauseating.

QUOTE (je suis Charlie @ Jun 3 2019, 08:05 PM) Going to be hilarious if he wins a second term, AND IF, god forbid the loony left get in here. Can you imagine, our government won't talk to the President of the United States? That'll be good for business! Not to mention security... all minor things though compared to Trump being not "PC" enough for the loons here...

Love the irony As a right wing, remain voting business owner, yes, I am interested but not worried about business. Funny how someone who thinks the left are cool can be snide about either business or security.

Funny how someone who thinks the left are cool can be snide about either business or security. I am centre left and a business owner. I’m less concerned about my business. I think the worst effects will be elsewhere in the country. The housing market and the knock on effects of that will be the biggest problem here. If any of you follow the local housing market, you’ll know that we’re experiencing a bit of a crisis. The market has slumped in the last few weeks and prices are dropping alarmingly. It won’t have fed through to figures yet but look at Rightmove and see all the reduced prices.

Perhaps some young people might be able to afford a house? Make a change. Or are you just worried about your own equity? House prices go down and then up... glass half empty again fella..

House prices go down and then up... glass half empty again fella.. I’m not bothered about my equity at all and there are benefits for young people in house price drops. I’m simply pointing out that we’re in the early stages of economic problems. https://www.independent.co.uk/news/business...h-a8325386.html
