Newbury Today reports that a row has apparently flared up at the Newbury Townswomen's Guild over something or other. With the two sides set to rubber-stamp an unprecedented million pound precept in a month or so it had occured to me that they might try and stage some kind of Christmas Panto. The ladies do protest too much, methinks.

Take it away then ladies.

Don't they teach the classics in schools nowadays? Here: Batley Townswomen's Guild Reenactment of the Battle of Pearl Harbour.

I am in contact about family history with a relative I had never heard of 10 years ago.
But all the photographs I stuck on CD and the DVD I sent her,
look like that smashing Temperance advert. Didn't work for me though.
