Whilst I am sure what they are doing is an improvement, has anybody noticed the state of the common recently with all the work going on? They are putting in new cycle tracks but are really making a mess in the process. They have churned up some parts into a muddy swamp driving their diggers around, they don't seem to slow down when there are people around and there has been a massive increase in litter and cigarette butts blowing in the breeze.

Though I have not witnessed it personally , I see no reason to doubt your observations because as we are all too well aware when it comes to knowing best , councils are in a world of their own .

I suppose the next step is a merry band of cycle wardens to make sure we keep to the afore mentioned tracks .
