I was watching the news tonight and even though some said that they were put off my Nick Griffin, some where attracted to him (or least his party) and thought he was unfairly treated. Some said they could vote for the BNP.

I thought the programme was a let down. I thought they were too interested in attacking him, rather than grilling him over his policies. I was pleased to see that Jack Straw didn't get it all his own way and some turned on him and his Labour party policies.

Tend to agree GMR. Some politicians treat the public as if they are stupid and therefore should not be permitted to think for themselves. Of course, some will even votre for BNP - but its been going a good few years and hasn't made any real headway. So, lets all calm down - he ain't going anywhere, but please don't treat me like a baby!

Many can't and that's why we have the politics (and parties) that we have.

Agree that's true of some - don't think it’s a majority. Regrettably politics has been hi-jacked by ‘expert and professional' politicians who simply think they know better than the electorate. That is exacerbated by the media – who love nothing better than to fan flames; simply because it sells. Look at last Friday’s Sun. Frankly, if our politicians are looking for someone to blame for the rise of Nick Griffin – they don’t have to look far.
