Don't they employ people to collect the trolleys up? that is my view and I am with AmieB on this one, if I take it back I feel as though I depriving a spotty teenager of a weekend job wink.gif

That is a good point; if we all did the work ourselves would we be depriving others of their livelihood? wink.gif

I know dads shop too, i see plenty of nice ones up there wink.gif

You're suppose to be shopping for groceries, not eye candy wink.gif

I can't go to the supermarkets during the day without being accosted by yummy mummys. They roam in packs you know, almost like a BBC nature programme on lions hunting a poor gazelle on the Serengeti. smile.gif

AimeeB, I find it odd that you complain about anti-social behaviour in one thread, and then admitting to it yourself because you can't be bothered to return YOUR OWN trolley! This is one of my pet hates, and don't see why spaces should be allocated for people with kids when they just obstruct everyone else. I will write in and complain, but I have also pointed this out to people doing it.

Leaving my trolley is nothing like anti-social behaviour! How can you compare that to me verbal abusing someone!!!

As others have said i am keeping people in work - so there! tongue.gif

What if your trolley susequently gets caught in a gust of wind and damages the paintwork of another vehicle? (just a possible example) You may be none the wiser to the event, but would no doubt be classed as an unsocial lazy yob by the owner!!

Well, I'm glad the majority here share my view of the Tesco customer base (present company excepted of course!). I thought it was just me. Extra wide aisles for extra wide people (wearing leggings, of course).

Hmmmmm the re-emergence of leggings, on the one hand 'thank you god' on the other 'oh my god no!'

Something that really annoys me with the trolleys is when people DO take them back to the shelters but just push them in. I always put mine in nicely and try to put it together with the same sized trolley in the shelter. It's just creating more of a mess when they're just shoved in there!

Eh, i haven't denied anything? Please clarify......
I am not admitting to anti-social behaviour. All I do is leave my bloody trolley which someone takes straight after me when they park into my space. rolleyes.gif

You do appear to be being ganged up on for something quite trivial.

That is precisely my point...leaving your trolley lying around and not tidying up your mess behind you in a public area is anti-social in itself.

Especially as I explained there is a potential for further consequences, which your seemingly flippant "Thats just something I will have to live with..." remark doesn't really endear you to being very socially conscious.

If everyone had the same attitude and just dumped their trolley, no-one would eventually be able to park. That is plain and simply anti-social.

Your going on now. Im still not admitting to being anti-social. If it was windy i would take it back. I dont leave it in the road, so people can still park in the spaces. It makes my life easier when people DO leave them (at parent and child spaces), so i can just put my son in the trolley instead of carrying him (struggling to be put down), my bag and carrier bags. See i use my own bags for my shopping, not everyone does that.
Im sorry me leaving my trolley really effects you - but please get over it.

Hear hear! The problem with these things is that the perpetrators are only able to recognise ASB commited against them but to self important to consider their own actions. Just another small point, how do you know someone will take your trolley as soon as you go? They clearly don't otherwise it wouldn't be a problem. What if I parked in the parents spaces because it was easier for me? Would that be considered ASB?
